Job summary

Kessler Hotels in Savannah is seeking an Engineer, Level 2, to help keep the property in peak condition with minimal disruption to guests and staff. You will perform repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems, and review blueprints to support maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, testing equipment, and assisting in supervising other engineering staff, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of progressive experience preferred in hotel or related field.
• Trade school or college coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs to hotel air conditioning system, change filters and motors.
• Perform preventive maintenance on boilers, chillers, electrical and more.
• Read equipment readings and test cooling towers.
• Repair pumps, plumbing, lighting, and fixtures as needed.
• Understand blueprints and wiring diagrams; assist supervising staff.
