Job summary

Kessler Hotels is seeking an Engineer, Level 1, to help maintain the Savannah property in top condition. You will perform repairs and preventive maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general facilities to minimize disruption for guests.

The role requires accuracy reading blueprints, and ability to document repair work while following codes and standards. A strong guest‑service mindset and flexible hours are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in hotel or related field.
• At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Trade school and/or College coursework in related field helpful.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs to hotel air conditioning system: change filters, clean coils, replace motors.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment (boilers, chillers, HVAC, electrical, etc.).
• Take required readings on equipment and test cooling tower.
• Replace and program televisions as needed.
• Repair and paint designated areas and fixtures.
• Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and Federal codes.
• Test and service swimming pools and spas.
