Job summary

Hotel Drover in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to ensure guest rooms and public areas operate safely and efficiently, upholding the distinctive Texas hospitality we offer.

You will perform preventative maintenance, basic repairs (plumbing, painting), pool upkeep, and energy conservation; log readings daily; follow OSHA policies; and be able to lift 50–100 lbs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a related trade or position.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Working knowledge of machinery, tools, repair techniques.

Responsibilities

• Embody the values and principles of Hotel Drover.
• Perform preventative maintenance responsibilities on all guest rooms as assigned.
• Maintain all mechanical items in guest rooms and public areas as assigned.
• Report all deficiencies that exist during daily routine property inspection.
• Properly perform painting and wall repairs.
• Perform basic maintenance repairs.
• Perform basic plumbing and sprinkler repairs.
• Perform daily required pool maintenance.
• Read, log, track and interpret readings from meters, gauges and other measuring units.
• Energy conservation - observe energy usage and report ideas.
• Ensure OSHA training compliance.
• Know locations of emergency disconnects, valves and shutoffs.
• Be able to move, lift, carry and push items weighing up to 50-100lbs.
