Job summary

TPG Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in Warner Robins, GA to perform interior and exterior preventative maintenance and basic repairs in a hotel environment. You will inspect mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, fix leaks, troubleshoot equipment, and respond to service calls to ensure guest comfort and safety.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and preferred technical training in engineering.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in engineering or related field preferred.
• Experience in hotel maintenance, facilities management, or similar role advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and perform physical tasks as required by the role.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior and external preventative maintenance and basic repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections of building systems (MEP and HVAC) and address issues.
• Repair leaks, replace faulty components, and troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Respond to engineering service calls and emergency situations, ensuring safety.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and front desk to minimize guest disruption.
• Adhere to safety protocols and hotel policies to maintain a safe environment.
• Interact professionally with guests while performing maintenance tasks.
• Report emergencies, accidents, damages, or hazards to management promptly.
