Walker Greenwich Village is seeking an on-site Maintenance Engineer to perform general hotel maintenance, with focus on plumbing, electrical, HVAC and safety compliance. You will follow preventative maintenance schedules, service equipment per regulations, and interact professionally with guests.

The role requires a high school diploma or trade training, plus applicable HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing certifications as a plus. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in a dynamic hotel environment.

Qualificações

• Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, mechanical repair, painting and HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of safety management principles and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and repair plumbing and electrical systems in hotel facilities.
• Follow preventative maintenance schedules and document activities.
• Service equipment in compliance with state and city regulations.
• Ensure upkeep of public, internal and storage areas.
• Assist other departments with engineering-related items.
• Interact professionally with hotel guests.
