Job summary

The Wurzak Hotel Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support the engineering team at Element Valley Forge. You will perform major repairs and preventive maintenance to uphold hotel standards and guest satisfaction.

We operate 24/7, so expect shift variations. Candidates should have strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems and be capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Hospitality maintenance experience preferred.
• Craft apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred.
• AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform major repairs and preventive maintenance to uphold hotel standards.
• Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.
• Paint designated areas and items.
• Install/replace basic electrical fixtures, switches, bulbs, and fixtures.
• Install, replace and program televisions.
• Perform minor plumbing functions.
• Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records.
• Follow Service Recovery Guidelines.
• Practice safe work habits and comply with MSDS/OSHA standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction and perform other duties as requested.
