Job summary

Remington-Hospitality- is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for Rise Uptown Hotel in Phoenix. The role involves responding to service calls, diagnosing defects, and executing repairs to HVAC, electrical, plumbing and boiler systems.

You will work with electricians, carpenters, painters and the night engineer to complete installations and replacements. The candidate should have hotel engineering experience, formal training or certification, strong communication skills and a self-motivated work

Qualifications

• Hotel engineering experience in a commercial setting.
• Proficiency with HVAC, electrical, plumbing and related building systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls within 30 minutes of receipt.
• Identify defects and take corrective action for guest-related or high-priority issues.
• Follow departmental procedures for repair, maintenance, alteration, and installation work.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.
• Coordinate with electricians, carpenters, painters and night engineers to complete tasks.
