Job summary

Holiday Inn Express Spokane Airport is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to handle basic repairs, preventative maintenance and painting for guest areas and equipment. You will troubleshoot key card systems, internet and TV devices, and assist with safety inspections while delivering prompt, courteous service to guests.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long shifts, and weekend/holiday availability; previous hotel maintenance experience is preferred, and basic communication

Qualifications

• Hotel/property management maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long shifts.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance on PTAC/HVAC equipment, furniture, appliances, lighting and plumbing.
• Paint interiors and exteriors and handle landscaping or parking lot repairs.
• Troubleshoot guestroom systems such as key cards, internet and TV equipment.
• Complete routine safety inspections and report issues with equipment or systems.
• Respond to guest requests with urgency and a service mindset.
• Collaborate with all hotel departments to support hotel goals.
