Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Houston. You’ll oversee hotel grounds, public areas, and guest rooms while performing preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and carpentry tasks.

The role requires practical maintenance experience in hospitality, solid math and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with timely execution. On-site position with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry knowledge.
• Strong communication and math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the property grounds, public areas and guest rooms.
• Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
• Paints, replaces electrical accessories, maintains HVAC.
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; manage spare parts.
• Responds to maintenance orders promptly and fulfills work orders.
