Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on maintaining hotel facilities, conducting preventative maintenance, and ensuring guest comfort and safety across guest rooms and public areas.

The ideal candidate has HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry knowledge and 2+ years in hotel maintenance or a related field, with strong communication and guest-service orientation. Full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (2) years in hotel maintenance or related role.
• Some college or trade school in mechanical/technical disciplines is preferred.
• Know-how in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Oversees property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms.
• Performs preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
• Checks fixtures, lighting and signs; manages spare parts stock.
• Responds to maintenance orders and completes work orders promptly.
• Completes daily rounds and reports issues as found.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
