Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group seeks an energetic Maintenance Engineer to join our team in a fast-paced hotel environment. The role covers grounds, public areas, and guest rooms, with hands-on preventative maintenance and timely response to orders.

The ideal candidate has at least 2–3 years in hotel maintenance, strong HVAC, electrical, and carpentry knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Benefits include PTO, medical options, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (2) years in a hotel maintenance position preferred.
• One year of college or trade school equivalent in mechanical, electrical, and/or technical disciplines is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms.
• Performs preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations.
• Paints, replaces electrical accessories, maintains HVAC.
• Checks fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintains spare parts inventory.
• Responds to maintenance orders promptly and completes work orders on time.
• Performs daily rounds and reports problems.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
