Grand Hyatt Washington is seeking a General Maintenance Engineer to perform maintenance and repairs across guest rooms, public areas, and meeting spaces in downtown Washington, D.C.

The role requires strong communication, a willingness to work a varied schedule including weekends/holidays, and the ability to access all guest areas for maintenance tasks. Prior hotel or building maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with hotel or building maintenance preferred.
• Strong customer service mindset required.
• Clear, professional communication with guests and team.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, public areas, meeting spaces, and front-of-house areas.
• Occasionally service mechanical, electrical, kitchen and laundry equipment as needed.
• Maintain safety and quality standards while addressing guest requests and incidents.
