The role includes supervising and maintaining maintenance for refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, HVAC units, ice machines, pools, lighting, kitchen equipment, emergency generators, and related systems, ensuring reliability and cost-efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of engineering/general maintenance experience; supervisory experience a plus.
• Technical certifications in electrical, plumbing or related fields are a plus.
• Strong hands-on approach and ability to interact well with guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the hotel engineering department.
• Respond to maintenance requests and work orders promptly.
• Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction and manage escalations.
• Train, mentor, counsel and supervise colleagues.
• Monitor and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting and safety systems.
