Job summary

Peregrine Hospitality is seeking an Engineer to maintain the property, including food/beverage facilities, building systems, and guest areas. You will be proactive, time-efficient, and dedicated to outstanding guest service while upholding safety and professional standards.

Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, coordinating with the Engineer Manager, following energy and safety programs, and collaborating with all departments to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year hospitality maintenance experience.
• Ability to read/write English and communicate with guests and staff.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect hotel premises to ensure safe and efficient operation of buildings and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance on public spaces, meeting rooms, ballrooms, rooms, and grounds.
• Provide excellent guest service in all interactions with guests.
• Follow energy management and preventive maintenance programs.
• Report condition of buildings and systems to Engineer Manager with cost-effective maintenance proposals.
• Use company equipment and vehicles safely and professionally.
• Maintain a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Adhere to safety and security procedures.
• Work cohesively with other departments as a team.
