Job summary

MARQUEE HOSPITALITY is seeking a Hotel Engineer to support our property by performing maintenance tasks and preventive care. You will work with the management team to ensure guest satisfaction and cost-effective operations as the sole maintenance specialist on site.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects while communicating effectively with staff and guests.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and proactive with a focus on quality maintenance.
• Able to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
• Strong communication and leadership for team collaboration.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Physically able to perform maintenance duties and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management to deliver guest satisfaction through maintenance tasks.
• Implement preventative maintenance per brand standards.
• Review and prioritize maintenance requests to control costs and maximize satisfaction.
• Estimate and manage warranty programs and maintenance expenditures for budgeting.
• Solicit bids and oversee contractors to ensure cost-effective work.
• Maintain exterior areas and keep logs per brand standards and regulations.
• Implement safety procedures and train staff on safety practices.
