Job summary

Choice Hotels International, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for The Radisson Hotel La Crosse to maintain guest rooms and heart of house areas per brand standards, performing preventative maintenance and repairs as needed.

The Radisson Hotel La Crosse, a 163-room property, offers a 40-hour work week with a 3:00PM–11:00PM shift, and a path for growth in hospitality maintenance. Training and development opportunities are provided along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Facility maintenance experience, preferably within hospitality.
Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a driving record check.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Works well independently or as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to guest service.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
Experience with pool maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work is a plus.
HVAC CPO certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Responds to customer and hotel staff reports of non-functioning equipment immediately.
Maintains problem logbook to record equipment in need of repair and prioritizes efforts.
Reports hazards or injuries and takes corrective action.
Maintains rooms in operating condition by performing repairs as needed.
Understands the Room Preventative Maintenance Program (R.P.M.).
Performs preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
Maintains lobbies and restaurant areas in good condition.
Repairs furniture, carpet, marble, tile, windows, mirrors and decorations as necessary.
Maintains operating equipment by performing routine checks and repairs.
