Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts’ Pittsburgh Marriott City Center seeks a maintenance professional to safeguard building systems, preserve energy efficiency, and ensure guest comfort. You will perform preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and refurbishments to meet brand standards.

Responsibilities include electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry tasks, and responding to guest requests with professionalism; you’ll help maintain curb appeal and safety across the property.

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, plumbing or carpentry skills required.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and report progress clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance and complete work orders to maintain hotel quality.
• Perform scheduled maintenance tasks (e.g., room care) and routine repairs.
• Inspect electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and related equipment; perform minor repairs as needed.
• Maintain building exterior, curb appeal, and refurbish furniture/fixtures in guest rooms.
• Respond courteously to guest questions/requests to ensure satisfaction.
