Job summary

InnVentures is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for Embassy Suites Anchorage to keep guest rooms and public areas in excellent condition. You will perform repairs on PTAC/HVAC equipment, furniture, plumbing, and fixtures, and perform preventive maintenance while ensuring safety.

The role requires physical work, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and weekend/holiday availability. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, paid time off, 401(k), and daily pay options.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience in a hotel or property management setting.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to move up to 50 pounds and stand for a full shift.
• Weekend and holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance on PTAC/HVAC equipment, furniture/cabinetry, appliances, light fixtures and plumbing.
• Perform interior and exterior painting, landscaping and parking lot repairs.
• Troubleshoot devices such as key card systems, internet equipment, television equipment, etc.
• Execute routine safety inspections and report/repair issues with equipment or systems.
• Respond to guest requests with urgency and service frame of mind.
• Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
