Job summary

Choice Hotels International is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to preserve the hotel’s guest areas and back-of-house spaces in line with brand standards. The role focuses on preventative maintenance and timely repairs to ensure continuous, high-quality guest experiences across all hotel functions.

Position offers hourly pay and full benefits eligibility with a schedule that may include holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of general facility maintenance experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Must have a valid driver's license and pass a driving record check.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills; able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer and hotel staff reports of non-functioning equipment immediately.
• Maintain problem log to record repairs and prioritize efforts.
• Report hazards or injuries and take corrective action.
