Choice Hotels International, Inc. in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to uphold guest rooms and back-of-house areas in line with brand standards through preventative maintenance and repairs.

The position pays $22.00 to $24.42 per hour, with full benefits for full-time staff after 30 days. Ideal candidates will have 2–3 years of facility maintenance experience and a valid driver’s license, plus a commitment to Yes I Can hospitality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of general facility maintenance experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and pass a driving record check.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Works well independently or as part of a team.
• Commitment to exceptional guest service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer and hotel staff reports of non-functioning equipment immediately.
• Maintains problem log book and prioritizes repairs.
• Repairs and maintains hotel rooms and systems as needed.
• Acts as back-up shuttle driver (requires valid driver's license and health card).
• Maintains room HVAC systems and preventative maintenance.
• Performs other duties to provide Yes I Can hospitality.
