Job summary

Newport Hospitality is seeking a proactive Maintenance Technician for evening shifts in New York. The role covers carpentry, plumbing, minor electrical and mechanical repairs, and pool/spa upkeep while upholding strict safety standards.

You will log repairs in Quore software, assist with preventive maintenance, and support guest services with a positive team spirit. Applicants should be able to lift 75+ lbs and work the 3pm–11pm shift.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in basic repairs; familiarity with maintenance software.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs, stand/walk entire shift, and perform strenuous tasks.
• PM Shift 3pm-11pm.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs (plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, HVAC).
• Conduct routine pool/spa maintenance and assist with preventive maintenance.
• Utilize quore software for logging repairs and communication.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance standards (lock out/tag out, pci, fire, osha).
• Maintain grounds and assist with seasonal tasks.
• Provide excellent guest service and contribute to a positive team environment.
