Job summary

Hotel Victor seeks a skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to uphold the integrity of Villa Casa Casuarina’s historic property. You will perform routine, preventative, and urgent repairs across guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.

Working under the Director of Engineering, you’ll troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems, maintain logs, and support safety compliance while delivering exceptional guest service on a luxury landmark.

Qualifications

• Previous engineer/maintenance experience or equivalent training.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks.
• Attention to detail with respect for historic architecture and finishes.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and mechanical systems
• Conduct preventative maintenance to protect the historic integrity of the property
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and hotel standards
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work orders
• Assist with special projects, renovations, and inspections as needed

Requirements

• Previous engineer/maintenance experience or equivalent training required
• Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and reaching, kneeling, stooping, crawling and climbing

• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
