Job summary

Encore Hospitality seeks a Maintenance Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and repairs across the hotel's mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, ensuring a safe, clean, and fully operational environment for guests.

This hands-on role requires troubleshooting, minor carpentry and repairs, and collaboration with front desk and housekeeping to maintain guest satisfaction and smooth operations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Technical certifications in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or related field preferred.
1–3 years of facility maintenance experience in hospitality is typical.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and repairs of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Troubleshoot equipment and perform timely repairs to minimize guest disruption.
Respond to guest maintenance requests with professional service.
Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with codes.
Keep maintenance logs and inventory, and coordinate with the Chief Engineer.
Collaborate with housekeeping and front desk to support operations.
