Qualifications

• Experience in resort maintenance and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot resort facilities to uphold luxury guest standards.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on systems and equipment.
• Coordinate repairs with engineering team to minimize downtime.

This luxury private island resort, which has many recent major renovations, includes 15 bungalows, spa, bar lounge, and fine dining restaurant overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Little Palm Island redefines working in paradise.

The JOB:

Join the Engineering team at Little Palm Island and help preserve our private island paradise running smoothly. We’re looking for a hands‑on Maintenance Engineer with strong HVAC/A/C knowledge and a well‑rounded understanding of resort maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and understands the importance of maintaining the high standards of a luxury guest experience.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you are a mechanically inclined individual who thrives on being a member of a team focused on providing an amazing experience for our guests. This role requires an individual with an attention to detail, one who is proactive and problem solving, all with a big smile. You should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable. Hotel Experience preferred.
