Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for the Hotel Indigo Cleveland Gateway. The role involves maintaining mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, performing repairs, and upholding preventative maintenance.

You will collaborate with hotel staff, stay detail-oriented, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. Ideal candidates have hotel/resort maintenance experience, strong communication, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance role at a hotel or resort.
• Household repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Engaging and welcoming personality.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for creating an exceptional guest experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Available to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push/pull throughout shift.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Performs general electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring and air conditioning systems, switches, fixtures and motors.
• Makes repairs to plumbing fixtures, piping, drains and sanitary systems.
• Repairs woodwork, wall vinyl, doors and windows, carpeting, etc.
• Performs general mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, and other equipment.
• Keeps records and prepares reports as requested by supervisors.
