Job summary

Kimpton Fort Leonard Wood is seeking a hotel maintenance associate to perform simple maintenance and cleaning in guest rooms, public areas, and grounds. The role supports safety, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction with responsibilities that do not require skilled trades.

You will carry out basic maintenance tasks, assist with checklists, troubleshoot minor issues, and ensure inventory is secured. This full-time position offers an $18.87 hourly wage and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Basic reading and writing skills.
• Carrying, lifting or pulling/pushing items weighing up to 100-300 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Complete basic maintenance tasks and deep cleaning to keep guest rooms and public areas in excellent state of cleanliness and repair.
• Assist with completion of the preventative maintenance checklist and minor repairs (e.g., replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl, and more).
• Carry tools, prepare the worksite and assist maintenance staff as needed.
• Clean and sweep parking lot and sidewalk areas.
• Cut, prune and water lawns and plants and dispose of trimmings.
• Empty all trashcans daily; report unsafe conditions or malfunctioning equipment to supervisor.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures; safeguard inventory and replenish supplies; minimize waste.
• Respond promptly to guest questions to ensure strong guest satisfaction.
