InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a Laundry Attendant to ensure every linen and guest item is washed, dried, and folded to meet exacting standards. The role requires handling soiled items, operating laundry equipment, and maintaining supply levels with teamwork across departments.

The job involves varying shifts, potential nights/weekends/holidays, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. English preferred, basic math for chemical dosing, and strong attention to detail are needed.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Some laundry experience and ability to speak English preferred.

Responsabilités

• Clean and store linens/uniforms in a timely, organized manner to meet hotel laundry needs.
• Receive soiled lines by bag, cart, or chute from the floors; sort by kind, color and soil level.
• Operate washers and dryers per manufacturer guidelines and add chemicals correctly.
• Fold clean linens and store; operate linen feeder, sheet folder, towel folder and ironer.
• Report repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor and monitor supplies to minimize waste.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through coordination with other departments.
