Job summary

Fairfield Inn and Suites Tulare seeks a Laundry Attendant to manage linens, operate industrial washers/dryers, and keep the laundry area clean and organized. You will handle linens, gowns, carpets, and towels, using carts and folding devices, while following safety protocols.

The role requires the ability to stand long hours, follow instructions, and work with modest independence. Shifts vary with facility needs, including full-time and part-time options.

Qualifications

• Prior laundry room experience preferred.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.
• Understanding of health and safety protocols and PPE.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to pull and push carts and laundry equipment.
• Bend, twist, stoop and lift as required.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves used linen from containers throughout the facility.
• Loads/unloads laundry to/from washers and dryers.
• Operates laundry machinery using control panels.
• Reports safety risks and needed repairs to management.
• Sorts, folds, and handles linens using assistive devices.
• Maintains clean work areas and equipment.
• Distributes clean laundry to storage locations and guest areas.
• Performs additional duties as required.
