Job summary

Fairfield Inn and Suites Tulare seeks a dependable Laundry Attendant to maintain linen and related items for guest rooms and public areas. You will operate industrial washing and drying machines and handle folded laundry in a busy hotel laundry room.

The position requires standing for extended periods, following verbal instructions, and working independently with good time management. Shifts vary, with some full-time and some part-time positions, with PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Prior laundry room experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Basic understanding of health and safety protocols, including PPE.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Able to push/pull laundry carts on varied surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves used linen from containers across the facility.
• Loads/unloads laundry to/from washers and dryers.
• Operates laundry machines using control panels.
• Reports safety risks and needed repairs to management.
• Sorts and folds laundry using lifting devices and folding aids.
• Maintains clean work areas.
• Stores clean linen and distributes to storage locations.
• Performs other duties as required.
