Job summary

The Broken Keel is seeking a Laundry Attendant for Bilmar Beach Resort, Treasure Island, FL. You will sort soiled laundry, move washed items to dryers, fold laundry per hotel standards and store items in the correct locations.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean laundry area, inspecting equipment, assisting with room cleaning when needed, and communicating professionally with guests and team members. Must lift up to 50 pounds and be fluent in English.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Basic Mathematics knowledge.
• Fluent English reading, writing and speaking required.
• Knowledge of cleaning materials and required tools.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled laundry safely and efficiently.
• Move washed laundry to dryers and operate per equipment specifications.
• Fold laundry per hotel standards and store correctly.
• Maintain a clean and orderly laundry area.
• Assist with cleaning rooms or other duties when needed.
• Report any maintenance or safety deficiencies promptly.
• Comply with safety requirements and company policies.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, guests, and co-workers.
• Lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
