Job summary

Rod 'N' Reel, Inc. is seeking a Laundry Attendant to ensure linens and terry are laundered and maintained in a timely and efficient manner. The role works closely with housekeeping to stock guest rooms with clean linens and towels.

The attendant will receive and sort soiled items, operate laundry equipment, fold and stock, maintain a clean work area, and assist guests with requests. English fluency and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English.
• Must possess a high level of awareness, attention to detail and follow-through.
• Must be able to multitask, delegate and prioritize to meet deadlines.
• Must be dependable, reliable and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort soiled linens and terry.
• Operate washers and dryers per manufacturer instructions.
• Fold clean linen and stock shelves.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Strip and make beds when needed and handle up to 50 lbs.
• Respond to guest requests and maintain a warm demeanor.
• Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
