Job summary

LRC2 Management seeks a professional Laundry Attendant to handle washing, ironing, folding, and distributing linens for guests. The role requires attentiveness, reliability, and a courteous approach to guests and staff.

The position involves operating laundry equipment, sorting and treating linens, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring timely service during weekdays, weekends, holidays, and events.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Flexible and long hours may be required.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
• Ability to stand for the full shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication with guests and staff.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Regular attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Attend to guests and colleagues with a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented attitude.
• Operate and manage washing machines and dryers per standards.
• Load and unload laundry according to procedures.
• Wash and dry dirty linens, towels, rags, etc.
• Sort linens by type, color, and size.
• Pre-treat stained linen before washing.
• Clean the dryer filter daily and maintain equipment as trained.
• Operate iron and ensure it is turned off at day’s end.
• Sweep and mop laundry floors and keep linens off the floor.
• Fold towels and linens as needed.
• Sort dirty linens from laundry carts and keep carts clean.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Sort clean laundry and load carts accordingly.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction through efficient service.
