Job summary

The Curtis Hotel in Denver, part of Sage Hospitality Group, is hiring a line cook for the dinner shift. You will ensure dishes meet recipe cards, manage high-velocity service, and maintain kitchen cleanliness and proper temperatures.

Experience of 1–2 years in a related role preferred; high school diploma required. We offer hotel industry benefits and weekend availability; starting wage $20.00 per hour plus weekly bonus, with comprehensive health and earning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cooking and the practices and procedures of a kitchen to perform non-repetitive analytical work.

Responsibilities

• Check items against recipe cards and ensure food is presented efficiently and with quality.
• Monitor line setup to maximize efficiency during meal periods.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and the "clean as you go" policy to ensure strict adherence.
• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production standards.
• Rotate perishables and date containers per SOP; keep temperatures proper.
• Assist in keeping buffet stocked and control food cost and waste per SOP.
