Job summary

Marriott Albuquerque is seeking a cook to join our team. The line cook will provide guests with an excellent dining experience by preparing all orders efficiently, timely, and to a high standard.

We offer a professional and friendly work environment and flexible morning, afternoon, evening, weekend and holiday shifts. Responsibilities include maintaining knowledge of policies, preparing food using standardized techniques, expediting during peak periods, coordinating opening and closing line

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures and standards.
• Prepare and cook food items for line using standardized food techniques.
• Expedite the line during serving periods as needed.
• Assist in the coordination of opening and closing as well as all line prep duties.
• Stock all food stations and prepare all for the next shift as required.
• Operate, maintain and properly clean kitchen equipment.
• Maintain sanitary regulations of food temperatures and rotating products.
• Complete regular sanitization/disinfection of all kitchen and food work areas to include flooring, storerooms, prep areas and equipment.
• Coordinates all receiving and storing of products.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management staff.
