Job summary

Peregrine Hospitality in Navarre, FL seeks a Laundry Attendant to oversee laundry operations and ensure items are clean, organized, and ready for service. You will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented hotel environment with a positive attitude toward guests and coworkers.

The role emphasizes sorting, loading washers, applying cleaning agents, folding/drying, inventory and equipment upkeep, and adherence to safety policies. Prior laundry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Laundry Attendant preferred.
• Work authorization in the United States required.

Responsibilities

• Represent the hotel with authenticity, enthusiasm, professionalism, and business like appearance and demeanor to all hotel guests, clients, prospective clients, agents, and the community.
• Retrieve all soiled linens to be sorted and treated.
• Load laundry into washer and add specified cleaning agents to then be dried as indicated.
• Sort and fold or hang clean dried items according to company quality standards.
• Sort items by color, weight, and/or fabric type when necessary or when directed.
• Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to a supervisor when necessary.
• Maintain all laundry equipment and inform facilities manager as to any maintenance needs.
• Uphold a friendly demeanor with all guests and interact accordingly, including salutations upon entry and exit.
• Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures throughout the execution of tasks and responsibilities.
• Sustain the safety of the property though risk-management behavior, proper inspections, participation in Safety and Security Committee and knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Following safety procedures as your role is defined.
