Job summary

The Laundry Attendant at Ivy Hospitality in Columbus, OH is responsible for the cleanliness and organization of hotel linens and guest items, operating laundry equipment efficiently and adhering to health standards.

You will work with the housekeeping team to deliver guest service, handle spills promptly, and follow safety procedures; high school diploma preferred, hotel experience is a plus, and no prior experience is required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: hotel experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours; regularly lift up to 40 lbs and push/pull carts weighing up to 250 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to sort, weigh, wash, dry, iron, and fold hotel linen.
• Iron and fold Food and Beverage flatwork; ensure clean presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization; comply with health standards.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and spills; assist housekeeping team.
