Job summary

Ivy Hospitality is seeking a Laundry Attendant to ensure clean hotel linens and guest items while operating laundry equipment safely. You will support housekeeping, maintain sanitary work areas, and respond to guest needs with professionalism.

Experience is not required, but a hospitality mindset and ability to work indoors in controlled environments are preferred. This role offers opportunities to grow within a busy hotel operations team.

Qualifications

• Basic communication and courteous interaction with guests.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and organization in a fast-paced hotel setting.
• Ability to understand and follow health and safety procedures.
• Basic arithmetic for handling supplies and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Operate laundry equipment for sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and folding hotel linens.
• Iron and fold flatwork to ensure presentable serviceware.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas, following health standards.
• Perform general cleaning tasks with standard hotel products, compliant with health guidelines.
• Respond to guest requests promptly, including spill cleanups.
• Assist housekeeping to maintain clean public and private areas.
• Follow procedures when entering guest rooms to minimize disturbance.
• Maintain quiet guest floors, especially in the morning hours.
• Handle guest requests professionally and courteously, supporting guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Adhere to safety protocols and proper handling of keys and security items.
• Participate in daily operations meetings and contribute to hotel strategy.
