Job summary

Holiday Inn NOLA is seeking a diligent Laundry Attendant to support housekeeping through thorough washing, drying, folding, and distribution of linens. You will operate commercial laundry equipment, ensure safety and sanitation, and assist in maintaining a clean, organized laundry area across shifts.

The role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospitality environment in New Orleans' Central Business District.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Hospitality environment experience a plus.
• Knowledge of laundry chemicals and safety procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens according to hotel standards.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room and storage areas.
• Monitor laundry supply levels and alert management when ordering is needed.
• Inspect linens for stains, tears, or damage and remove items as needed.
• Deliver clean linens to storage rooms or floors as directed.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper chemical use.
• Assist the housekeeping team with additional tasks when needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
