Job summary

Peregrine Hospitality is seeking a Laundry Attendant to manage hotel laundry operations with a team-oriented approach and a commitment to quality. You will sort, wash, dry, and fold items while maintaining equipment and supplies to support daily hotel functions.

The role calls for a positive attitude, multitasking ability, and strict adherence to safety procedures in a fast-paced environment at our Navarre, FL property.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Laundry Attendant preferred.
• Work authorization in the United States required.

Responsibilities

• Represent the hotel with authenticity, enthusiasm, professionalism, and business like appearance and demeanor to all hotel guests, clients, prospective clients, agents, and the community.
• Retrieve all soiled linens to be sorted and treated.
• Load laundry into washer and add specified cleaning agents to then be dried as indicated.
• Sort and fold or hang clean dried items according to company quality standards.
• Sort items by color, weight, and/or fabric type when necessary or when directed.
• Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to a supervisor when necessary.
• Maintain all laundry equipment and inform facilities manager as to any maintenance needs.
• Uphold a friendly demeanor with all guests and interact accordingly, including salutations upon entry and exit.
• Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures throughout the execution of tasks and responsibilities.
• Sustain the safety of the property though risk-management behavior, proper inspections, participation in Safety and Security Committee and knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Following safety procedures as your role is defined.
