Job summary

Baywood property seeks a dependable Laundry Attendant to inspect, wash, fold and store linen for guest rooms and outlets. You will operate washers/dryers, count linens, and keep storage areas orderly while following brand standards.

You'll assist with inventories, restock supplies, and report equipment issues promptly. A customer-service mindset and ability to work physically are essential for this role in a busy hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Some high school education (grade 9) preferred.
• Previous hotel laundry experience preferred; however, on-the-job training may substitute.
• Ability to learn and maintain franchise standards and procedures.
• Ability to read chemical labels and safety data sheets.
• Must be able to communicate problems to management.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, wash, fold, and store all laundered linen according to brand standards.
• Operate washers and dryers and manage linen counts and records.
• Maintain cleanliness and organize storage areas; report equipment malfunctions.
• Assist with monthly inventories and restocking supplies.
• Provide warm, professional guest service and adhere to safety guidelines.
