Job summary

SpringHill Suites West Melbourne Palm Bay, a Strand Hospitality managed hotel, is hiring a part-time Laundry Attendant. The role processes linens, ensuring timely supply to Housekeeping and guests. You will operate laundry equipment, maintain cleanliness and safety, and support the team in daily hotel operations.

The position offers a 401(k) Fidelity match up to 4% and access to hotel discounts worldwide. Must be able to lift 50–75 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and/or carry at least 50-75 lbs.
• Strong inventory management for housekeeping supplies.
• Positive, courteous communication with coworkers and guests.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry and fold linen to supply clean linens to Housekeeping.
• Maintain organization and safety in the laundry area.
• Provide linens promptly to Room Attendants to avoid delays.
• Follow guidelines for handling soiled linen and bloodborne pathogens.
• Operate washers and dryers per brand standards.
• Notify management when linen or products need restocking.
