Job summary

SpringHill Suites Tampa North/I-75 Tampa Palms is seeking a dependable Laundry Attendant to support our Housekeeping operations. The role involves washing, drying, folding, sorting, and organizing hotel linens to ensure a steady supply of clean linens for guest rooms.

Typical hours are 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with weekend availability required; starting pay is $14.00 per hour. This is a full-time position at a busy hotel, offering training and opportunities to develop hospitality experience.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial laundry, hotel housekeeping, or similar experience is preferred but not required.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work with limited supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled linens and towels according to established procedures.
• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely.
• Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, and other washable items.
• Inspect clean items for stains, damage, or excessive wear.
• Rewash stained items when appropriate and remove damaged linens from circulation.
• Maintain linen quality and productivity standards.
