Highgate Hotels is seeking a House Laundry Attendant to wash, iron, fold and distribute soiled linens, towels, napkins and tablecloths for a Residence Inn Rosemont location. Responsibilities include operating washers/dryers, sorting and pre-treating stains, and maintaining a clean laundry area.

The role requires flexibility with hours, ability to stand throughout shifts, and a focus on guest satisfaction. Benefits are available for full-time associates in a hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Flexible and long hours required.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Maintain regular attendance in accordance with hotel standards.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including uniform and nametag.
• Comply with Highgate hotel standards and regulations for safe, efficient operations.

Responsabilités

• Attend to guests, managers and coworkers with courtesy and friendliness.
• Understand operation of washing machines and dryers.
• Load and unload washes according to standards.
• Wash and dry all linens, towels, napkins and tablecloths.
• Sort linens by type, color and size.
• Pre-treat stained linens before washing.
• Clean dryer filter daily; maintain equipment as trained.
• Operate iron and ensure it is turned off at day end.
• Sweep and mop laundry areas; store linens off floor.
• Fold towels and linens; sort clean laundry for carts.
• Maintain clean work area and carts.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
