Job summary

ARK in Palm Coast, FL seeks a friendly laundry attendant to ensure our guests are well cared for during their stay. You will handle washing, ironing, pressing, and folding linens, while maintaining a clean, organized work area and working with industrial laundry products.

Ideal candidates have at least one year in laundry/housekeeping, the ability to lift 20 pounds regularly, and a reliable work ethic. This is a part-time, on-site role with a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• 1 or more year as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or a similar role is strongly desired.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience with a variety of commercial cleaning products and techniques.
• This position requires the ability to lift 20 or more pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Place all laundry in the washer and add the cleaning agents as directed.
• Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to general manager.
• Look at all of your linens and treat any stains that you find.
• Monitor all laundry equipment and notify the facilities manager of any maintenance requirements.
• Take out the clothes and linens after washing and dry them following the manufacturer's recommendations.
