Job summary

Midas Hospitality is seeking a dependable Laundry Attendant to support housekeeping by ensuring clean, well-maintained linens and towels for guest experiences and to maintain efficiency in daily laundry operations.

The role emphasizes safety, organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced hotel environment, with responsibilities ranging from sorting to inventory management and coordination with Housekeeping leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in laundry, housekeeping, or hospitality preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and operate laundry equipment.
• Good organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collect, transport, inspect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and properly store hotel linens, towels, and other laundry items.
• Operate washers, dryers, ironing equipment, and other laundry machinery according to manufacturer guidelines and hotel procedures.
• Inspect linens for stains, damage, and quality concerns and follow proper procedures for treatment, washing, and replacement recommendations.
• Maintain appropriate linen inventory levels and communicate supply needs to Housekeeping leadership.
• Monitor and maintain automatic chemical and detergent dispensing systems and report inventory needs or equipment concerns.
• Clean lint traps, laundry machines, work areas, storage spaces, and equipment according to established safety schedules.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry environment.
• Report maintenance concerns involving laundry equipment or hotel facilities to leadership or Engineering.
• Follow all safety procedures, chemical handling guidelines, and company operating standards.
• Support Housekeeping operations with additional cleaning, linen delivery, and department projects as needed.
• Work efficiently to meet daily laundry production goals and support overall hotel operations.
