Job summary

Crown Hotel & Travel Management, LLC in Dunn, NC is seeking a Hotel Laundry Attendant. You will strip, wash, dry, fold and stock linens to hotel standards while keeping the laundry area tidy and organized.

This role offers both full-time and part-time schedules with benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage, supplemental insurance, an enhanced PTO plan, paid training, and a fantastic company culture. Applicants must maintain hygiene and be able to lift up to 20 pounds.

Qualifications

• Wear a provided uniform and nametag at all times on the property
• Must be able to frequently kneel, reach, crawl, and twist torso as needed to accomplish required tasks
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 20 pounds without assistance
• Must be able to perform repetitive movements when cleaning and folding
• To always maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance

Responsibilities

• Assist with stripping of dirty linen from the guest rooms as needed
• Sort linens for washer
• Remove stains from badly soiled linen
• Dispose of linen and terry properly
• Operate washers and dryers properly as well as ensuring that the correct chemicals (and amounts) are being used
• Fold linens to hotel standards and keep stock organized designated places
• Wash bed wraps, duvets, mattress pads, and blankets in accordance with hotel standards
• Keep laundry area neat and cleanAssist housekeepers in the cleanliness of the hotel room if needed
• Assist with cleaning and up-keeping of storage areas
• Report immediately all damage found in in laundry room or with equipment
• Notify Executive Housekeeper of any damage to roll-aways or cribs in rooms
• All other duties assigned
