Job summary

Little Creek Casino Resort in Washington state is seeking a Hotel Laundry Attendant responsible for cleaning, folding and sorting hotel linen to the standards set by the Hotel.

You will wash, dry and store linens, check for wear, manage linen counts, operate laundry equipment, and assist with guest room preparation as needed. A background check and WA driver's license are required; 6 months of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months related experience or training preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Requires a Valid Washington State Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, fold and store linens, including sheets, pillowcases, bedspreads, draperies, towels, mats, shower curtains and blankets following company policies and procedures.
• Check linens daily for wear or stains and keep count of rejected linens.
• Responsible for day-to-day care of laundry equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Make up Hotel Guest Rooms when necessary and assigned.
• Assist with picking up linen from rooms when required.
• Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.
• Load and unload washer and dryer.
• Separate terry from linen and wash separately.
• Other duties may be assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Wash, dry, fold and store linens, including sheets, pillowcases, bedspreads, draperies, towels, mats, shower curtains and blankets following company policies and procedures.
• Check linens daily for wear or stains that may make them unsuitable for use. Keep count of rejected linens.
• Responsible for day-to-day care of laundry equipment. Advise Hotel Facilities / Housekeeping Manager promptly concerning maintenance and repairs.
• When necessary and assigned, make up Hotel Guest Rooms.
• When necessary and assigned, assist with picking up linen from rooms.
• Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.
• Load and unload washer and dryer.
• Separate terry from linen and wash separately.
• Other duties may be assigned.
