Job summary

Courtyard Cincinnati Downtown is seeking a part-time Laundry Attendant to maintain hotel linen according to brand standards. The position runs 7am–3pm with weekend availability required, in a fast-paced hotel setting.

You will sort, wash, dry and fold linens, operate laundry equipment, and ensure efficiency while upholding quality. A cooperative team and attention to detail are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be flexible in work hours to accommodate last minute scheduling
• Must have strong interpersonal skills to engage guests and associates
• Must be detail oriented in supervising staff, inspection of facilities and completing assignments
• Must be available to work weekend shifts

Responsibilities

• Operates, maintains and cleans laundry equipment according to company standards
• Informs supervisor or management of any mechanical failures or supply shortages, so corrective action can be implemented

The Courtyard by Marriott hotel, located in Downtown Cincinnati , is hiring for a part-time Laundry Attendant . The hours for this position are 7am-3pm; weekday and weekend availability is required.

PRIMARY PURPOSE

To maintain the condition of all hotel linen in accordance with the company and brand standards through efficient cleaning and processing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Meets and exceeds customer and team member expectations by providing service and teamwork

JOB SETTING AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Employees in this position work primarily indoors. To perform the job successfully the candidate must be able to lift, push, pull and carry a minimum weight of approximately 20 lbs, stand for long periods of time, kneel, bend and crawl, squat and crouch.
