Job summary

The Courtyard is seeking a part-time Laundry Attendant to keep hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and textiles clean and ready for guests. You will wash, dry, fold, and store items following hotel standards to support a comfortable guest experience.

Responsibilities include sorting soiled linen, operating washers and dryers, maintaining a clean work area, and following safety procedures while using laundry equipment. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of hotel, housekeeping and hotel laundry operations.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Exhibits initiative, responsibility and flexibility.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Friendly, cooperative manner and patience in dealing with customers and staff.
• Must communicate clearly and professionally in English with coworkers, owners and management.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and courteous service at all times.
• Receive and sort soiled linen into appropriate containers.
• Process sorted linen using washers, dryers, sheet spreaders, ironers and feeders/folders, ensuring quality standards.
• Maintain assigned work area in a clean and safe condition.
• Notify supervisor of malfunctions, supplies needed, or damaged linens to keep operations efficient.
• Practice safe use of cleaning agents and follow safety practices.
• Use radios, telephones and office equipment as needed in laundry operations.
• Maintain neat personal appearance and adhere to dress code.
• Comply with brand standards and hotel policies for safe operations.
• Establish good communications and teamwork with colleagues and other departments.
• Attend all-hotel meetings and events as required.
• Understand hotel policies and terminology.
• Perform any other duties as requested by management.
