• Pulls damaged and/or stained linen prior to loading washers
• Ensures maximum loading capacity of machines.Loads washers and dryers to recommended weights
• Operates, maintains and cleans laundry equipment according to company standards
• Informs supervisor or management of any mechanical failures or supply shortages, so corrective action can be implemented

The SpringHill Suites by Marriott hotel, located in Uptown Charlotte, is hiring for full-time LaundryAttendants. The persons hired for these positions will need flexibility to work 8am-4pm or 11am-7pm; weekday and weekend availability is required.

PRIMARY PURPOSE: To maintain the condition of all hotel linen in accordance with the company and brand standards through efficient cleaning and processing

RESPONSIBILITIES

JOB SETTING AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Employees in this position work primarily indoors. To perform the job successfully the candidate must be able to lift, push, pull and carry a minimum weight of approximately 20 lbs, stand for long periods of time, kneel, bend and crawl, squat and crouch.
